Time together, well spent

Mini sudoku

Pocket Sudoku uses a small four-by-four board. Fill the empty cells using the digits 1 to 4, making sure each row, column and two-by-two box contains each digit once. It is a compact way to practise the logic behind a larger sudoku.

How to play mini sudoku

  1. Select an empty cell and inspect its row, column and two-by-two box.
  2. Choose a digit from 1 to 4 that does not repeat in those groups.
  3. Complete the grid, then use the game’s check control to review your answer.

A useful way to start

Start with a row, column or box that has only one missing digit. When a cell has several possible values, leave it and look for an easier deduction elsewhere.

Make it a shared moment

You can take turns or discuss your next move on one device. For supported shared play across devices, open the game’s Private room control and invite one person. Both devices need an internet connection. Read how private rooms work.
